The lavish artworks of three very different courts are currently on show at “Turkish Taste at the Court of Marie-Antoinette”, on view at The Frick Collection, New York; “Money and Beauty: Botticelli and the Bonfire of the Vanities” at Palazzo Strozzi, Florence; and “Splendour and Glory: Art of the Russian Orthodox Church”, which is being presented at the Hermitage Amsterdam.
