Michel Soskine organizes original exhibition themes between New York and Madrid that bring new names to Europe and America, and a fresh perpective to creating a roster of contemporary artists. Former exhibitions include 7 Spanish Realists and 5 Latin American Artists, therefore the newest exibition in Madrid, 5 Portuguese Artists is a natural extension of his efforts to value quality, diversity and overcome some of the heavy, theoretical speech that weighs much of contemporary curating.

Featuring the works of Gabriela Albergaria, Pedro Valdez Cardoso, Manuel Caeiro, Monica Machado and Jorge Queiroz, 5 Portuguese Artists is a charged collection that is diverse and frank and yet, at the same time, refreshingly understated in presenting a panoramique overview of Portugal and its contemporary creators.
