Having become united under the auspices of an unknown libertine fairy, director David Lynch and master shoemaker Christian Louboutin are bound together as one and the same in a projection of images and objets d'art for the striking exhibition, dedicated to retifism. Lynch seems to have gone for a walk in Louboutin's imaginary antechamber, while the red sole shoemaker searches through the director's labyrinth of coded fantasies. The instep curved to its limit, David photographed Christian's endlessly heeled pumps, fused black leather shoes and tight laces on naked bodies; languid in a decor filled with shadows.
