Evian, Palais Lumière Evian

On the 120th anniversary Jean Cocteau’s birth, the work of this multi-disciplinary artist and intellectual receives a full retrospective revealing the richness and diversity of his oeuvre, also exploring his personal relationships with contemporaries Christian Bérard, Nijinski, Igor Stravinsky, Colette and Jean Marais. This “fragile genius” displayed enormous originality as a poet, novelist, painter and film director, among other creative roles, that are duly represented in this collection of what he left behind for posterity.
