For the first time in France, Paris’ Musée Guimet is presenting an exhibition introducing the history and heritage of Kazakhstan. Located between Russia and China, Kazakhstan is now established in a territory where they have encountered civilizations of unrest. Steeped in traditions based on a clan structure and ancient nomadic traditions, the country is home to a distinct culture, which is celebrated at the Musée Guimet. The exhibition focuses in part on the great horsemen of the region, exhibiting artefacts alongside archaeological pieces, the photographic evidence, objects of daily life, all staged the Guimet’s signature dynamic style.
