Mews 42

At Vanessa Suchar and Jesper Thomsen's recently opened Mews 42, the gallery's third exhibition takes on a Royal Academy Summer Show feel with a collective of works from its stable of artists. "These are all artists that I've been representing for many years. I have a minimalist eye, but I love the eclecticism of putting them all on the walls, with absolutely nothing in common," explains Suchar.

The graphic, media-driven style of Lamia Ziadé's slick prints sits alongside Luisa Caldwell's June Jungle, a modern mixed-media interpretation of traditional decorative motifs, and Eric Michel's vibrant light installations. Following a passion for light and color, inspired by Yves Klein and James Turrell, his fluorescent neon installations search for immateriality.
