To mark its exclusive UK representation of Ron Arad, London’s Timothy Taylor Gallery hosts an exhibition of new works by one of the world’s most bankable design art stars.

Sophisticated new experimental works make their worldwide debut, alongside evolutionary re-inventions of the chair - this time in the guise of Thumbprint. The Bodyguards series of three unique pieces crafted from inflated aerospace aluminum, along with their Drunken counterparts, which sway, seemingly weightlessly on a single tangent point, highlight the ingenuity and skill behind the work of the acclaimed artist. In contrast to the encumbered forms, Gomlis and Johnny Wasps are lightweight yet strong woven works that explore similar paradoxes. Composite techno-threads woven around sacrificial moulds decorated with latticed holes, hold the body as if in an airy web.
