Paris, Avenue Champs-Elysées

Paris’s most famous avenue plays host to a spectacular retrospective of iconic images that have graced the cover of the world’s most famous fashion magazine over the past 90 years. Since its launch in June 1920, Vogue Paris has informed and inspired generations, both commenting and defining the art and spirit of each era.

Over almost a century, the French fashion monthly has become a paradigm of fashion photography, launching the careers of the most revered names in fashion - from Helmut Newton, to Guy Bourdin and Patrick Demarchelier – all of which have broken out of the confines of the fashion niche, to become artists in their own right.

The line-up of covers that grace the Champs Elysées, offers passers by a reminder of some of the most beautiful images. The outdoor exhibition runs in conjunction with the launch of the book of the same name, which features more than 120 captivating images that have defined fashion.
