The gallery opened in February 1994 with an exhibition of works by Dadamaino, François Morellet and Günther Uecker; this was followed by the solo exhibition of Bruno Querci and then by one of the British artist Alan Charlton. The gallery's policy has been to stage exhibitions by artists of different generations, alternating Italians and foreigners, in order to both create a dialogue and allow comparisons, as well as provide the most complete possible overview of contemporary art.
