A little bit of Moscow has arrived in Midtown Manhattan with the opening of Brasserie Pushkin, sister restaurant to the lavish Café Pushkin in Russia where waiters wear elaborate costumes and knee breeches. In New York it’s more sedate but only slightly: carved panelling, painted ceilings and a menu of exotic Russian-French cuisine from chef Andrey Makhov.
