The latest contender in the Paris patisserie war is Victor & Hugo, a duo offering high-end delicacies in their luxurious boutique in the 6th arrondissement. After years working with Michelin-starred Chef Guy Savoy, Hugo Pouget is using his knowledge to create innovative single portion-sized cakes and chocolates. Each season, the pastry chef chooses five flavors and products such as pineapple, vanilla or hazelnut, which will be his inspirations for the new collection. In collaboration with a sommelier, Hugo & Victor also recommends a selection of wines picked to compliment the pastries.
