In a city renowned for its quality patisseries, few are as imaginative as Thierry Teyssier’s Patisserie des Rêves, or the “patisserie of dreams” as it translates. Just opened is its second outpost in the smart sixteenth arrondissement, which offers not only chef Philippe Conticini’s celebrated takes on classic French cakes, but also a menu of homemade juices and iced teas. Take note: tables at its small suntrap of a terrace are harder to get than a room at Dar Ahlam, the Moroccan fort hotel also owned by Teyssier.
