CITY GUIDE / PARIS / SHOPS / RALPH LAUREN BOUTIQUE

While Ralph Lauren is already well established in France, the king of preppy chic and modern Americana opens a new boutique on Paris’s left bank. Housed within a historic former residence built in 1683 with a restored horse-watering fountain and a quintessentially Parisian open courtyard, beyond the shopping that continues to offer the best of Great Gatsby elegance, the boutique is particularly exciting in its opportunities for dining conceptually across the Atlantic. Seating forty-eight in its main dining room with Big Band era music in the background, the menu lets the world know that America is more than its hamburgers, featuring imported Maine lobster, Maryland crab, and American raised organic hotdogs and Black Angus beef. The succulent tenderloin and strip steaks are products of Ralph Lauren’s own RRL Ranch in Colorado and exclusively served at his Parisian establishment.
