The Christina O is a floating style icon. As the yacht famously bought by Aristotle Onassis in 1954, it was where he first met JFK and his wife after Sir Winston Churchill, a frequent guest onboard, asked him to invite them to a party aboard the yacht during their visit to Monte Carlo. Later, it was where Jackie Kennedy became Jackie O when it was the scene of their wedding off the shore of Skorpios, the Greek island that also belonged to Onassis. Parties on deck were attended by Greta Garbo, Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor, as well as King Farouk of Egypt and King Faud of Saudi Arabia. In 1956 Princess Grace and Prince Rainier held their wedding reception onboard. No other yacht no matter how much bigger has achieved such legendary status.

Now a unique opportunity has arisen to buy into history as the 99m Christina O is put up for sale. Brokered through yacht specialist Edmiston, the price of €25million might seem astronomical but Edmiston currently represent ten yachts that are even more expensive, including the 10m shorter Nirvana priced at €230million. With space for 34 guests and 39 crew, as well as the iconic mosaic swimming pool, the Christina O has been meticulously restored. Designed to host the sort of parties that people never forget, the next owners of the Christina O have a lot to live up to.
