“The inspiration for this collection came from Tokonoma, a Japanese style reception area in which objects for natural and artistic appreciation and inspiration are displayed. The
Tokonoma lamps were created in the spirit of such objects. The materials used are handmade felt for the shades, and wood for the supporting stands. Aqua’s artisans make
the felt in four different finishes, using the finest merino wool and pure silk.”
