When the artist Tom Sachs – known for his sculptures that recreate modern icons – collaborated with Nike, he sought inspiration in his latest exhibition, Space Program: Mars at the Park Avenue Armory, New York, for a collection of sneakers, bags and jackets designed to boldly go where no man has gone before.
